Our Founder: Dale Fisher

Dale was a vibrant force in the bird industry for over 60 years! With a passion for raising a variety of domestic and exotic birds, he has truly mastered the art, specializing in stunning pheasants and peafowl. As one of the most knowledgeable breeders in the field, Dale inspired countless new breeders to embark on their own journeys and was an invaluable resource for seasoned enthusiasts as well. For over 30 years, he participated in the animal auction business, showcasing not just birds but an array of small and large animals! From his ranch in Iduma, where the auction takes place, Dale always invited anyone with questions or seeking guidance to reach out—he was eager to help in any way he can!

 

The Legacy Lives On:

Although still operated by the Fisher Family, we want to let our customers and friends know that the Iduma Bird Sale has recently changed ownership following the passing of its founder. While this was not an easy transition, we are committed to honoring the legacy that the Fisher family worked so hard to build.

Although you may see some new faces, our main focus remains the same: treating our customers with respect and continuing to provide a trusted place to market quality animals. The values, standards, and community that Iduma Bird Sale is known for will carry on.
